Abstract
Padang City is the capital of West Sumatra province. The diversity of tribes and cultures in West Sumatra means that many traditions and foods have their characteristics and uniqueness. The Minangkabau tribe is one of the tribes in
Padang and West Sumatra. This modification of Padang cuisine was made with the hope that people would become more familiar with the variety of foods in Padang. This modification aims to preserve traditional food so that it is not forgotten in this modern era. This modification also focuses on the arrangement and presentation which is made more modern and attractive than before. This modification gives a new appearance that is more attractive, appetizing, and acceptable to today's society. Therefore, this paper is designed so that this typical Padang dish can be more widely known by people in various other regions, not just in West Sumatra.
